- Kiss: I think we could've done so much in terms of preparation since we were dependent on what the alumni would say; since last minute na rin lahat ng sinabi nila, I think we did well.
- Carlos: How could we have invited more students?
- Jem: I think dapat na-emphasize na libre yung pagpunta
- Trina: I think if we could've highlighted na may speech si Leni, maraming pupunta
- Paje: Siguro kung nagkaroon tayo ng mga teasers for it para solid yung pag publicize
- Carlos: Siguro we can coordinate earlier with UPSEAA and students for events like this para mas maganda 'yung preparation natin.

- Lantern Parade
- Earl: Napag-usapan namin ni Kiss na i-extend ang deadline to November 11 yung submission of designs. So far, we have 4 people who are working on designs. On Saturday, we'll meet ni Kiss to have a contingency plan if ever hindi walang makapg-submit or subpar yung quality.
- Earl: We' announce the extension two days before Nobember 4, the original date for submission.
- Carlos: Miguel, I think we can have incentives for the students to encourage them to attend Lantern Parade
- Kapekonomiya game plan
- Jem: So updates lang, we still have our 4 speakers. The program flow is registration, then National Anthem, opening remarks by Reini, then the 4 speakers in order, then student reactors, and possible PAEP defending it, an open forum, awarding of tokens, closing remarks then egress. 4:00pm - 7:00pm ang program, then about 15 to 30 minute egress. The main role of Council is to help with registration. I told ETC that we would be in-charge with that.
- People who'll bring laptops: Teh, Cabaero, Sanchez, Santos, Gemzontan, Paje, Ronsayro, Quimbo
- Jem: So for the incentives system, people will be able to have an evaluation form after a particular time. registration will start at 4pm.

- Electives 101
- Gabbi: Meron na kaming 8 na speakers, kailangan na lang ng speakers for Stat, CHE, CMC, Geog, and Tourism. This is for November 8.
- Suggestions: EJ Gruezo for Geog, Dianne Yabut for CHE, Cielo Griño for Stat, Cheska Yazon for CHE, Flor Alvarez for Tourism, Lyon Leus for CMC
- Gabbi: For the primers, ngayon magre-report yung Core namin about it, since 60 pages pala yung primer last year, and magu-upload ng online primer for students who won't be able to attend. Pub deadline is this Sunday.
- Econ Week updates:
- Paje: So we're gonna have our pub for Humans of UPSE next week. The question is: What is your greatest fear? (this is for students). Guys if you have any interesting questions or people who do you think can do great with Humans of UPSE, just message me. Also, just so you guys know, we won't get people na super high key, like people na hindi niyo talaga maiisip na iinterviewhin namin.
*Quimbo and Sales leave 5:21 pm* - Paje: We'll start the day with a grand pakain. Really simple lang at the back parking. We're gonna have free massages, DoTA Tournament, and Game Theory, the econ week culminight. More of like a house-y venue. We wanna include artists rin with solid DJs and also this is open to non-econ students. But if you don't have an UPSE student, you don't have to pay an entrance fee. We're expecting an attendance of 200-250 people.
- Jem: Takot ko lang is to not pub it as a party, but more of a culminight.
- Paje: It will not be pubbed as a party. It will be a lowkey, chill walwal. But it will be to the quality of an org party, which is why I have to increase the number of people in my Core. It's gonna be heavy on Promotions and Marketing.
- Aaron: About the grand pakain. What's the rationale of GPak being on Monday?
- Paje: I'm so sorry I meant on Tuesday.
- Carlos: I just wanna be sure that when we pub this, it should be emphasized that this is for everyone. Game Theory is something that is non-standard in our Econ Week. I'm concerned about Mr. and Ms. Econ, since I'm not sure how it will play out. If you can present something on how it will work, sana ma-discuss natin 'yung mechanics natin. I think ;et's make Pat explain it when she comes back.
- *Quimbo and Sales arrived 5:28 pm*
- Paje: The budget I requested for this sem's culminight is 53k. The money na lang that I'm expecting maximum if 12k, since the rest will be transferred to free services to the students and Econ Week in general
- Jem: Takot ko lang is to not pub it as a party, but more of a culminight.

- Acade Services for Seniors
- Aaron: First of all, congratulations to Seniors since 100% sa ESF. So for consultation, we're still finalizing it. For now, we're gonna have a Batch Aral tomorrow sa Executive House.
- NYC Updates
- Jem: We had concerns since according to Dale and Tricia since apparently someone from Council said that Council will shoulder the expenses for venues for day 2 of NYC. Pero I cleared it up with them. But the major concerns is that only 2 NGOs have partnered with us for the mini-STRAW fair-esque. Then Jena Fernandez still have about 45k pa from Sales last year, but still hindi pa rin niya nawi-withdraw, but though for sure, makukuha naman 'yun, though baka ma-late lang siya. But okay naman so far.
- STRAW updates
- Howie: Magkakaroon tayo ng donation box for the victims of Typhoon Lawin sa Cagayan Region, so hopefully, malagay ko yung box tomorrow and ma-pub sana tonight. Ang iba lang ngayon, if dating pwede mag-donate ng cash, ngayon bawal na. Basically clothes, toiletries, ready to eat food, etc. Yung med kit and first-aid kit, nagkukulangan na ng laman. I've already requested it with Pat, so I'll buy the meds na lang this weekend. Sa infographic ng mental health, gusto ko siya i-push but nahihirapan ako kasi hindi kumikilos ang Core ko. 'Yung sa article pala for the Free Market, I'll outline it by the weekend, hindi ko lang naasikaso dahil sa isang exam. 'yung sa dear STRAW, hindi na-pub last week.
- IGPs
- Joel: So tomorrow, we'll release a new pub for E-Store. We'll also slowly add new merchandise sa E-Store na non-clothes like stickers, etc. For IGPs, next week na since sobrang unresponsive ng Core ko. We're planning food sales for the whole of November and rummage sales.
- Joel: For the rummage sale, start from next week until second week of December ang collection. If you guys have any suggested place, just tell me. This will be at the third/fourth week of December.
- Open Consultation and Vanguard Project
- Carlos: I'll post a schedule later on when you are available for next week. Basically, we'll ask UPSE people about Council performance and what they expect from us. Do you think we should go to the tambayans, or set-up a booth?
- Kiss: I think the best way is to engage them in groups para mapuntahan natin per org.
- Carlos: For Vanguard Project, this is gonna be an adhoc team. So I'll get someone from the Econ community. The campaign will be beasically infographis and interviews with policymakers etc.

- Magna Carta concerns + initiatives
- Jem: We went to LSG last Monday. So what we discussed is that tomorrow they will have an educational discussion between the LSG and the USC regarding the Magna Carta. What they told us is that they will try one last time to convince the USC to support the Magna Carta; otherwise, they will try to form an alliance of student councils and organizations that will help them in forwarding the Magna Carta to the University Council. We're gonna have an educational discussion group on November 10 in partnership with Howie regarding Magna Carta. For the forum, we'll try to present the situation and the opposing sides of Magna Carta.

- BRA Outreach
- Trina: My concern is that for sophomores, majority would be taking NSTP. I talked to Marianne last night and we have to change the program a bit. What's gonna happen is that the first part will be visiting their old houses and the second part will be visiting their new houses; na parang we can have kuwentuhan in kind of like DGs in an area. Our target number is 10 participants per batch. According to Marianne, normally with partnerships, minimum is 2 counts for CDC. HFH is still asking if we need a MOA for this?
- Kiss: Yes please.
- Trina: I think it would be best to prepare guide questions for the kuwentuhan. Also, since may mga kids rin na nagpe-perform, would Council want to perform?
- Consensus: It would be all right for Council members to perform.
- Jackie: Tentative meeting time is 12:00pm at Econ.

- Arts and Culture
- Earl: I plan to have more of information for students. I want to create a list what people can do and go to on October 31.
- Jackie: Siguro pweds mag cite ka ng mga places or infographics na parang places to go to or something?
- Carlos: I think we can work with Kiss since we get invitations to attend concerts and plays, especially in partnership with UP performing groups

- Emira: Tuloy 'to sa November 3, with CDC Count. I want to Pub this Sunday, Monday, & Wednesday. This will be 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. I have the pub video naman, though kailangan lang ipa-polish kay Tin. For the venue, sana free sa SE 125. For the program, sinong pweds mag-host?
- Paje: I want to volunteer as a host.
