The audience tomorrow will be students and partner orgs. We invited sectoral orgs and one replied so there will also be “nanays” attending. Please wear your SESC shirts.
- Iyla: Please share the last pub tonight and invite your friends.

- Iyla: Please support the flower sale in the AS walkway. Also, please support the main pub tonight. DP release on Sunday. Final GA on Nov 17, 1-4PM. Who cannot go? Yana, Jolo, Kayla
- Iyla: Saturday call time is 9am and we end at 6pm. Sunday call time is 6am. We’ll need the team leaders and station facis on the first day. As for the second day, the team leaders might help with facilitating the quiz bee along with the station facis.
- Cams: We need 5 people for registration and 2 ushers. We’ll be touring the alumni around UPSE. We’ll need 5 extra laptops for reg. The attire is SESC shirt and IDs.

- Cams: We’ll have a booth for merch.
- Je: The songs will be Christmas Carols by SESC and John will lead us. We will also be in charge of counting the votes for the Alumni BOD.
- Bets: I plan to have a midsem Council Room cleanup next week. I’ll be asking 2 members per House to go since I think it might be counterproductive to have everyone cleaning. I’ll post a poll for the best date next week.
6. Marketing Talk Updates c/o Cams (5 mins)
- Cams: There are 2 talks, Marketing and Data Science. The first speaker is Jus. I’ll have the room reserved since it was moved.
- Yana: We posted a survey to know which electives/careers our batches want the most. For ours, top 4 is Psych, BA, Polsci (Bea B), Sociology (Antonio V) and Chapseuy. A lot also answered Public Ad so we might have another one next sem.
- Miguel: What’s difficult with Psych is non-Psych students are barred from getting electives.
- Jolo: What if you have other electives, the recommended ones since the purpose of this event is to make people realize that this track might be for me.
- Theresa: Maybe you can also have Educ because a lot of people start talking about it in 3rd and 4th year where it’s later into college na.
- Ian: How many do you plan to talk about? Maybe you can look at who you can prescribe to who.
- Yana: Do you think it’s okay to put Chapseuy?
- Jackie: For me, I think it helps because some people want to focus on one track, but those who get mixed learn a lot too.
- Yan: We were thinking, what if for those who want to go to Law, we can ask the speakers to focus on the subjects that will help them get there.
- Javi: We added potential career paths to the survey and it was more of Business and Law.
- Yana: We could get people who are already in those tracks then we ask them what can help to get them there.
- Bets: I have a suggestion cause what usually happens in Electives 101 is some people only come for particular electives, but they’re forced to sit through the whole talk, or others leave after they’ve heard the elective they came for, so what if you have the speakers set up at the sides of the room then accommodate those who want to listen to their elective. This way, it’ll also take up less time or be less dragging.
- Yana: It can be like an Electives 101 fair.
- Javi: We can have them stamp like a stub once they’ve passed through each booth. Then maybe, from the Electives 101 we can decide on the topic for the career talk.
- Ian: For speakers, I suggest you give prescribed guide questions so they’re directed.
- Howie: This way, it can be uniform as much as possible.
8. Alay sa Personnel Updates c/o Bets (5 mins)
- Bets: I’ve met with my core and we’ve decided on the food and drinks. We plan to get spaghetti and barbecue along with softdrinks, water and zesto. For tokens, we were thinking of getting them customized UPSE tumblers. Since it’s during lunch time, we want to keep the program short and sweet so we plan to get videos from the SEAC orgs saying thank you but we want to make it more like a music video type so it isn’t so boring. Lastly, my core and I were thinking of adding a small photobooth at the side where we’ll put props. Joaquin, is it okay if I assign your core to take their pictures?
- Joaquin: If ever, I can be the one to take their pictures.
- Bets: Who can host? Josh and Jolo
- Howie: What an acquaintance party did before was cut a frame for the photobooth then the personnel hold it up and take pictures.
9. Happiness Project c/o Josh (5 mins)
- Josh: This will be on Nov 21-24.
- Howie: Are they small initiatives?
- Josh: It will be like a hell week initiative that’s week-long. We plan to have random tambayans, and a freedom wall and the rest will be a surprise.
- Howie: Make sure you make paalam to Ma’am Kraft.
10. Lantern Parade Updates c/o Je & Cams (10 mins)
- Cams: We’re getting the designs tonight. I’ll post it tonight.
- Je: The lanterns we got today will be used for the DP shoots. We’ll be buying smaller lanterns to sell during the lantern parade itself.
- Howie: When you get the design and costings, start making a timetable.
- Cams: We’ve already made one for prodwork once the design in approved.
- Je: We plan to sell lanterns to the alumni too.
- Howie: The alumni shelled out a lot last year since it was the 58th year, so let’s ask the alumni if they can help out too.
- Jolo: I’ll be meeting with my core for Culminight.
11. LCC GA Attendance & next GA Schedule c/o Howie (5 mins)
- Howie: The week after ASEAN, there’s an NYC field trip. Wednesday, there’s a career talk. Thursday, there’s Electives 101. Friday, there’s Alay Sa Personnel so we need to have GA on Tuesday next next week.
- Howie: LCC GA on November 20, Monday, 4-6pm. I have a 2-5:30pm thesis class, so who can go? Paje, Steph, Jolo*
- Howie: Josh, follow up the lobbying since other colleges are starting as well.
12 . Bulletin Board c/o Joaquin (5 mins)
- Joaquin: I’m done with the layout. I’m gonna get the MOA with Orange Segment from Cams, so once we get it we can have it printed ASAP. It can be done next week if Orange Segment will be open.
13. Construction Protest Letter c/o Howie (5 mins)
- Howie: I’ve shown the letter to Dean Solon and it’s been approved after revising. The BA admin has already given one to Danicon. Dean will be giving one soon then we’ll follow. We’ll also be getting the signatures of org heads. I’ll send the final draft in the chat.
14. Other matters
- Paje: Overnight Christmas party in my house on December 15-16.
- Iyla: Please wear Council shirt tomorrow.
- Louise: BRA Outreach with Verlanie Foundation. All Saturdays have been booked, so is it okay if it’s on November 27, Monday. Maximum of 20 volunteers.
