Summary of the Meeting:

- GA Tidbits
- World: No more honeymoon for Trump – analyst
- Local: UN special rapporteur welcomes the suspension of anti-drug operations in the country
- UP: DOST urges LGUs to use UP's hazard-mapping program
- Other: UST student affairs office hit over sexual harassment case
- Org Fair Evals
- Paje: Orgs had nice booths and activities. People actually made tambay in their booths a lot. Over-all vibes were good. Only the three major econ orgs participated, plus Council. CAP wasn't able to set-up because of CAPtivate. DebSoc and UPIC only had app process for the first semester. Cute ng Council Booth, so thanks so much for the freshie batch reps.
- Jem: I think ETC and OBEM really had a great time, because of their booths and all. Sa Ecosoc kasi, they just focused more on recruiting.
- Kevin: Madaming na-recruit ang ETC eh, so okay naman tingin ko.
- Carlos: With OBEM and ETC, I always felt that they were always there.
- Carlos: Also guys, at the start, it's really important that you should go to your shifts. If you're going to have scheduling problems, you should give a replacement ka-agad.
- Jem: In terms of Council presence sa booth, I think we looked like we had proper organization.
- Chito: For me, parang okay talaga na wala na lang na launch.
- Carlos: For the next Council, do you think we should adjust the time sa morning? Is there still merit in opening the booth at 8:30?
- *Sanchez arrive 4:49pm*
- Jem: I think we can open it in 10 am, tapos yung 8:30-10 as egress, since karamihan ng orgs, nago-open sila around 9 am.
- Howie: Usually, Econ classes start at 10 am, so it makes sense na mag-open tayo mga around 10am.
- Carlos: About batch rep brigs, maraming naka-miss doon sa mga attires, so sana i-brig na lang everyday
- Jem: i think mas maganda if i-brig siya at the start of the week para makapag-prepare sila before the Org Fair
- Chito: Sana nag-start tayo ng early pag-lagay ng Core sign-ups. Wala tayong primer rin na nakalagay.
- Fin Updates
- Joel: So until Friday, we'll continue the food sales like Moshi Manju and the doughnuts. So every Friday, Moshi Manju. Last week, we made Php1,110, pero wala pa yung Moshi Manju kasi kulang pa rin. That's Php1,850 total.
- Jem: Is it possible if we have the councilors and head office to sell at least one Moshi Manju box?
- Joel: Dalawang buyers na yung na-contact ko for E-Store. I'm trying to liquidate the former orders na hindi ako kinontact.
- Carlos: When are the new releases coming out?
- Joel: I'll go to Taytay pa to check our supplier.

- SESC Core GA
- Carlos: Core GA is tomorrow, SE 114 at 4:30pm. The program will be handled by Paje and Tin Santos. I'll just give a rundown of our events and activities for the semester.
- *Comendador arrives 5:06 pm*
- Carlos: Any themes you want to follow for tomorrow?
- Consensus: Wear white for Council members
- Carlos: So that's the thing: program flow, saktong ice breakers, the works. Do you want to sell Core shirts and lanyards?
- Consensus: No.
- Vanguard Project
- Carlos: Please hatak people lang to go. Isa pa lang yung naga-apply for this.
- Howie: You can also talk to Martin Suarez to people in Externals (of Ecosoc) that may be interested na mag-join ng Vanguard Project.
- Carlos: Please hatak people lang to go. Isa pa lang yung naga-apply for this.
- Grad Shoot Evaluations & Haraya Updates
- Aaron: For the evaluations, the photos were generally of good quality. The studio was well-equipped. Our batchmates enjoyed the barkada and creative shots. A lot of our batchmates were really game about it. The staff were really accommodating and fast in our concerns. The problem was just with the barkada shots and the make-up of people. I think it's just a matter of communicating to our batchmates na baka matagalan sila sa prescribed na time for them. We're collecting the remaining fees for our grad shoot. We're currently collecting write-ups for our yearbook. We're also collecting down-payments for grad ball.
- STRAW Concerns
- Howie: For the parking, the goal is to have it cemented and have lines and remove the plant boxes. Acc. To Ma'am Kraft, hindi siya magagawa this sem kasi marami pa siyang kakausapin na offices. About the plant boxes, tatanggalin na rin daw yun, kailangan lang siyang kulitin. For the front parking, I talked to Rianne Geronimo, nag-request raw ang BA admin about it, so baka ipatanggal na rin siya. And hindi rin siya ginagamit ng construction crew. For the emergency and disaster roles, wala pang roles ang admin, pero finafinalize na siya. She's also looking into the possibility of having an earthquake and fire drill. She'll update na lang us about it. Also, Tita Fely will retire na lang this month. Next is the water fountain, I talked to her kung pwede nang palitan, but she requested na linisin yung unit. Next is the comfort room tissues, I proposed to Ma'am to have vendo machines for tissues. She said to canvass na lang.
She said na besides the fact na tedious yung process, it's more of a matter of pride for the professor. Ang sinabi namin was that sana there were standards that advisers have to adhere to. She said naman na she'll bring it up in the next department meeting. In this case of getting a grade change, medyo malabo na raw na mabago.
- Howie: For the DG on the death penalty, it will push on the 23rd. We're aiming to have three speakers. If you have suggested speakers, just tell us. Also Kiss, pa-follow up na lang sa partnership letter. Also, can you please remind your orgs sa cleanliness ng tambayan kasi napapansin nila na nagiging tambakan na siya.

- EdRes Updates
- Jem: So next week, Tuesday, The Situationer na. OBEm confirmed na. ETC has an internal event, pero sabi ni Julie na okay naman daw sila. I'm gonna follow up na lang on UPIC, Sidhi, and CAP. Ecosoc has confirmed. Debsoc has been invited.
- Carlos: I recommend that you come up with a line of matters na pwede nating pag-usapan. Also, let's put a timecap sa mga orgs on their plans.
- Jem: I'm gonna have an acad alliance meeting tomorrow 4-4:30 with the academics VPs of orgs.

- Four-sem rule
- Jem: We'll be producing a position paper within this week. It's the first step in revisiting and revising the four-sem rule. Basta sure na may paper tayong maibibigay sa admin.
- Carlos: I was wondering if we can ask data about the four-sem rule?
- Jem: The basis nga pala for our position paper is those students na hindi nakakuha ng opportunity. Hindi natin mas focus na tanggalin siya, but more of for students na hindi nakakuha ng slots. More of to give leeway for the students.

- Valentine's Pakulo
- Paje: Okay so next week na 'to, since we'll pre-sell before Valentine's. We want them to make a lot of money, so if ever, I'm going to Divisoria. I'll make a menu and I'll talk to my Core about it. For those who didn't see the chat, we'll have a menu that says parang how committed you are to the person, from "classroom crush" to "will you marry me?". Internals will be decorating the Council Board in preparation for Valentine's.
