- GA Tidbits
- World: US department of Homeland security to begin a sweeping crackdown on illegal immigrants
- National: SC upholds pork raps against Napoles
- UP: UP alumni Assoc. inaugurates Scenic Elevator in UP Bahay ng Alumni
- Other: Japan responds positively to Karlie Kloss portraying Japanese culture
- Fin Updates
- Joel: Ang total natin as of now is Php68,368 and we need to raise 100k for Econ Week. So basically, we need around 30k for Econ Week alone. So my Core is thinking of still continuing our food sales like Moshi Manju fridays and the sandwich making with Jackie, and our non-food sales. Every week, ang target namin is Php1500, excluding Moshi Manju, para at least ma meet na yung sa Econ Week, kasi yung sa Schoolympics, we can allot more time for it. I told my Core that we need more non-food sales. I'll coordinate with Kiss to find partnerships with orgs, kung meron lang naman silang mahanap, kasi mahirap mag-depend sa food sales lang. I'll follow up pa yung kay Earl, kasi titingnan pa ng South Rep if pwede pang babaan yung price. Mga Friday siguro ko ito made-deliver. For the E-Store, yung problem ko is hindi masyadong mabenta yung 1965 na drifit shirt, but ayaw kong i-term na clearance sale.
- Carlos: For Council, may alam ba kayong place na pwedeng paggawan ng clearance sale?
- Galano and Morada affirmed.
- Carlos: I think we can set this in March 4. So dapat by March 1, makapagbigay na tayo ng rummageables. Please request pub na by tonight.
- Carlos: So, let's set forty pieces per House, including clothes, shoes. Then if you don't reach your quota, minus 200 House points. The House the gives the highest number of articles, then you get 200 points.

- Magna Carta Updates
- Carlos: For MC, we're part of the PR team. We're part of the Content team. So the first thing that we have to do is to look for stories of rights violations in UPSE, because the point of the Diliman Rights Watch was to show that we need to have the Magna Carta. If you want stuff for Magna Carta for any events, please contact Chito, because he's the deputy secretary.
- EdRes Updates
- Jem: So 'nung Friday last week, we met with the person from Human Rights Watch. We were able to get more contacts for speakers. If in the future you need speakers for human rights, you can ask us kasi marami siyang divisions. Other than that, we were contacting Rep. Geraldine Roman as a speaker. We already have a group that will speak against the anti-discriminatory bill. PANTAY has already said yes to partner with us. In terms of attendees from them, wala pa kaming napag-uusapan sa kanila. We want sana na we require a number of people from each org of the PANTAY alliance. We're gonna reserve it sa Audi. This Sunday, release ng Free Market. Next week is for the Econcepts.
- Carlos: Another thing, people are hoping that Econ will make a statement about the free education thing. Other colleges are kind of wondering if Econ will say something about it.
- Gabbi: I think when we release a statement, it's more of trying to explain our stance rin.
- Howie: Either way naman, if we remain silent, iba-bash nila tayo; when we post something, iba-bash pa rin tayo.
- Trina: I think before we release anything, UPSE should be oriented first about this.
- Carlos: Okay lang ba for Council that we set aside time in the agenda about this?
- Consensus: Yes.

- Econ Week Updates
- Paje: I had my first meeting with my Core, mainly Game Theory, because that's what requires the most work. I separated my team into Logistics and Programs. It's gonna be drinking games and just games. What are your comments about it?
- Carlos: How would you brand it to people na hindi umiinom?
- Paje: The brand that we're trying to bring back was the CulmiNight two years ago. Keep that in mind, as the team.
- Trina: I think we can make this more of like a game night thing.
- Carlos: How would you brand it to people na hindi umiinom?
- Paje: It's gonna start at 8 pm, so it's after dinner. I asked the team what they wanted given a budget of Php50 per person, so they said more of chips and stuff. Also, we'll have welcome shots. The games that we have is beer pong, flip cup, rage cage, trip to Jerusalem, pop the balloon, pusoy, and bridge
- Howie: Though I'd like raise na bawal balloons because of our partnership with CSSC.
- Jem: I think we can have more board and card games, like Cards Against Humanity
- Suggestions given: Monopoly Deal, Jenga
- Paje: I wanna keep the proportion more with drinking games than non-drinking. We plan on doing party and kiddie games plus drinking. So just to warn you guys, we'll station Council people per station para you can make hatak people. Next naman is the venue. I told them to come up with seven venues. The venues that I'm making them contact. The first one is Xavierville. Second is Tierra Pura. Third is Place One. Fourth is Green Street. Fifth is the one near LGV. Sixth is the one in La Vista. Seventh is somewhere in Sikatuna. Next is the rooftop of CCA. Meanwhile, my meeting tomorrow is with programs.
- Carlos: I think we can give them places to chill rin.
- Paje: I want to also have barkada performances.
- Carlos: I think we can ask each SEAC orgs to have performers per org.
- Paje: The ticket pricing for non-Econ majors is Php150 lang naman. Target pala namin is 150 attendees.

- Death Penalty DG
- Howie: First speaker is Nida Sevilla, and the second speaker is Wilnor Papa. So ingress before 4:00pm. Then registration, first speaker for 25 minutes. Next is the second speaker for the same time, open forum, then presentation of certificates. Sinong pwedeng mag-host? I'll provide you a script naman.
- Consensus: Ask Javi Vilchez and Josh Quimbo, then Jem will be the alternate host.
- Howie: Kailangan ko ng laptop for registration
- Volunteer: Kiss and Jem.
- Volunteer: Aaron
- Howie: As a substitute for the primer, may ilalabas lag na pub. Complete with the info about the house bill. Yung infographic pala lalabas ng 9pm. Thanks kay Gio. For follow-through sa event, magkakaroon ng part 2 release about it. Yung classmate ko sa Bio 1, may exhibit about against EJK. So I was thinking pwede 'yun.

Ang pakiusap niya is punta sana tayong Council and sabihan yung mga students.
- Carlos: Since People Power this Saturday, I was wondering whether we should release a statement about it.

- SAC Updates
Kasi parang they try to let the grass na tumubo uli eh.
- Earl: I was thinking na gawing Monday yung field trip sa Fundacion Sanso. How do you guys think I can drag the whole trip?
- Carlos: Maybe it would be nice if you can get pictures of some of the artworks there to hype it up.

- BRA Outreach Updates
- Jackie: We tried to contact UP Haring Ibon regarding the partnership sa isang clean up drive. Sa orphanage, wala pa ring update. May isa akong contact na nag-respond, kaso medyo sketchy kasi with STAND UP with Bulacan. Magkakaroon sila ng discussion groups rin.
- Carlos: I think we have to clarify with them sa kung anong topics yung pag-uusapan natin. Admittedly, I'm concerned if people will be going to the outreach if they find out na partnership with STAND UP.
- Jackie: While we're thinking about this, contact muna namin yung iba.

- SEEB Matters
- Carlos: Our representatives for CSEB is Dr. Arcenas, Dr. Daway, Anton Castillo, and Louis Arceo. The latter two are both part of the SEEB. We need someone to chair SEEB, who should be a member of the SESC. It's open to everyone. You should have good academic standing, no political leanings, and not running.
- Trina: If no one else wants it, I can do it.
- Kiss: I can do it.
- Carlos: So let's congratulate Kiss on being our SEEB Chairperson. We're gonna release the pub. Batch reps, please brig na rin to people na interested maging part ng SEEB.

- Friendship Week
- Pat: It's gonna be next week na. What's gonna happen is I'm gonna talk to the heads of SEAC is to make the tambayan not be blocked. Tapos we're gonna have game day. I'm gonna ask for board games, yung mga fun na pwedeng i-share sa tambs. We're gonna have a movie day sa tambayan. I'd also like to have like food concessionaires, I'm gonna give them an avenue to sell, and a DG deconstructed. Just trying everyone to get along with each other. Manghihiram pala ako sa inyo ng stuff; I'll just post sa group where you can edit the list na lang.
