- Giselle: Gumawa ako ng masterfile and for the weekend ififinalize muna yung games and the events per day. Like what I did for the first day, I want the batch to get to know each other so the game is related to that. I just have a problem on how to encourage them to join since there’s no prize. Each day has a specific theme and assigned people for it. Just fill in the masterfile. For pubs naman, there are 2 teaser pubs and 1 main pub. Then a freshie DP. Nakaayos na yung time for posting and caption. We just need to finalize the schedule of the game so that ilalagay sa main pub. Then naisip namin ni third we might need to survey their batch if they have internet so we’re aware na we can maximize the online platform for orsem. There might be people with free facebook like for example, so we’ll maximize games that could cater to that. Also, since 100 people yung freshies, it’s kinda hard dahil konti lang batch ko and batch ng seniors. So we need to see how we can maximize the facebook group during the orsem.
- Andi: I have an idea for a prize, like the block who wins a game will have grab food credits or something. Minimum 100 pesos.
- Giselle: Feeling ko puwede per day para may accumulate sa final.
- Shin: Or Gcash
- Josh: Lets ask nalang how many per block para we know how to divide the prize
- Mitch: 37,705 pesos lang natitira for our funds.
- Giselle: so sa weekend, ill chat nalang people assigned per day. 2-3 games lang naman per day. Magcoordinate na rin ako with Reg for ASEO. The org videos will be posted sa orsem hahatiin nalang sa days. For the GGs, internal pub nalang siya and im just waiting for how many blocks so I know how many ggs to assign.

- Orallo: The video series will be after the pubs. So after I do the pubs, ill do the video series after the weekend.
- Josh: giselle lang naman nagrerequest and the video.
- Je: And pag may statement.
- Josh: Do you need katulong? Are you alone
- Orallo: Alone lang. Kaya naman siya right now
- Josh: Just talk to zion If you need help since she made the SONA video.
III. Freshies and STO Orientation - Freshie and Sophomore Batch Representatives
- Pat: We have a program flow na pero may pinapadagdag yung admin. Tomorrow we have a meeting with Ma’am Magno to finalize everything.
- Josh: may kasama na si tita joyce, si tita ave and its so cute kasi bibo sila and they chat pat del at 12 in the morning.
- Pat: when is the STO?
- Josh: Sabay nalang natin
- Pat: So we need a list of the shiftees?
- Josh: Yes banggit niyo sa meeting bukas and in essence they will talk about the same thing (rules ng econ, introduction, etc) they’ll just breakout rooms after. Unless you guys wanna separate it, more planning kayo.
- Pat: Isasabay nalang namin kasi same nga lang. And we handled it na before so it’s okay.
IV. Holdover Discussion - Head Office
- Josh: By September, all the seniors ng SESC are letting go of their positions. But of course, if you guys have questions or if you need help, you can still approach us. Lahat ng graduating mawawala. All their positions will be vacant. When I met with head office, we talked about appointing an OIC for each position and we need your approval. You guys also still need to manifest. For vice-chairperson and Econ rep position, that will be handled by the hold over council. Voting for head office has to come from our council. It cannot be someone outside council. Your council has the prerogative to appoint councilors from your core or whoever, but they will only hold it until the next elections. Also, it is not required that you stay in your positions. The reason why us seniors will let go cause we decided na kaya niyo na without us and the graduating students have their own things to do na. For those shifting, it’s still yours to decide if you wanna stay or leave na. May ibang seniors na hindi na aabot ng September, but for those na kaya pa, nandiyan pa sila to holdover. I want you to remember na a student council is essential for the students especially now there’s a lot of uncertainty. There has to be someone (you guys) to take care of those students. Ill post the specifics on the weekend. By then, you can read and suggest. Do you have questions?
- Andi: For the freshie batch reps, whats the possible ways we can approach this?
- Josh: For the batch reps, you’re not gonna be the reps you were elected in. You will be the reps of your current year (so for sophomore batch reps, they’re junior batch reps, so on and so forth). For the freshies, we are considering na baka puwede for elections since we have been handling the elections for FBRs.
- Je: The difference lang is campaigning will be online since walang physical spaces for campaigning and the convocs would be online. We also don’t think its gonna have an issue with regards of the overall stand of UP. I think its still manageable. We just need to consider like not everyone might have the means to attend online convocs, etc
- Josh: It’s the call of the holdover council na.
- Maui: So for appointments can be within the elected council or outside council for councilors and batch reps?
- Josh: yes
- Maui: so yung botohan ng appointment is for all those who stay in council?
- Je: Yes so you need to see first who stays in council. So isettle muna yung mga aalis from their position then settle nalang sa mga natitira
- Josh: yes. Any more questions?
- Je: if you have plans on resigning, we will follow the same protocol for resignation you have to send a letter to josh and jv.
- Maui: If I leave and no one replaces me, discretion ba ng remaining council kung walang pumalit?
- Josh: Yes
- Maui: so sino gagaawa ng role na vacant position?
- Josh: Sasaluhin na siya ng maiiwan. Internal arrangement nalang yun ng council. I brought up sa head office baka puwede tayo gumawa ng skeletal workforce, but we can’t impose that on you guys. It’s the call of the council holding over. We can still give recommendations and we can still help you guys though
- Andi: If the holdover council decides to do a skeletal work, its unconstitutional naman right?
- Je: No. Technically the holdover council can suspend the constitution. In essence its really about the SESC can continue despite the current circumstances. Again, the SESC is crucial at this time of uncertainty kaya di puwede maiwan sa ere yung SESC.
- Josh: you guys can go against it ah. Babagsakan pa kasi siya
- Je: Josh will also fix the document for this interim council for the upcoming holdover council.
- Mitch: What will happen ulit sa core?
- Josh: they can replace you
- Mitch: But it’s not compulsory
- Josh: yes
- Maui: will you put sa document the responsibilities of the interim council?
- Josh: yes
- Regina: Before bagsakan, we need to suspend the consti first. Para hindi siya unconstitutional.
- Je: I think it’s still constitutional cos we are still following the procedures for appointment
- Josh: wala kasi tayong provision if lahat aalis ng head office
- Andi: For econ rep, is there any problem in terms of that? Like theres no problem on USC’s side?
- Je: No dapat kasi yung qualifications for the person is duly elected na council. So as long as the person who will replace is elected and since head office will be from the remaining council, so it will be okay. Marami rin sinuspend na provisions sa consti ng USC. Kailangan lang mainform yung USC who will be Econ Rep.
- Josh: Babagsakan natin yung proposal that we will establish an interim sesc and some seniors will be letting go of their positions on or before september 10. The guidelines will follow this week. Bagsakan na natin 1, 2, 3. Okay binagsakan na. Andi will be appointed as OIC subject to the approval of the council.
- Je: Di ba Tita Joyce and Tita Ave are the ones taking care of the tickets of the help desk, may mga nagfofollow up kasi di na daw sila nagrereply. Halo-halo yung concern
- Josh: We can message them about it and we will follow it up.
