- World: Several websites that contain false information have been blocked on Facebook
- Local: French President Emmanuel Macron said Sunday he "convinced" President Donald Trump to stay in Syria before the United States, United Kingdom and France launched strikes against targets at three sites Friday night
- UP: Deadline of dropping is today April 17; SET Answering will start on April 24 and end on May 17

2. Alay sa Personnel Updates c/o Bets (5 mins)
- Bets: Alay was originally on April 20 since I scheduled it on a relatively free week during Plansem, but given all the suspensions I guess it now falls on this hell week where it’s harder to mobilize my core and at the same time I’d want to give them time for their exams and deadlines. I plan to move it next Friday lunch if ever. I checked and there are no events on that day plus the program flow is still the same. It’s also my fault I wasn’t able to coordinate sooner regarding this especially with SEAC so now I’ll make sure to tell Paje all that I need.
- Ian: Just make sure there aren’t any big GAs on that day and coordinate with SEAC. If every there are any tasks, kindly post them in the group so everyone remembers.
- Bets: I’ll be needing help with the Alay video.
- Joaquin: We can lend you cameras if you want but Sec core can use iPhones to take the vids then send them to M&P for editing. When do you wanna start?
- Bets: I can start taking videos this week then send them by this weekend.
3. Discussion Group on Federalism Updates c/o Iyla & Ian (5 mins)
- Ian: We got 1/3 target speakers. It’s the president of ANAKBAYAN Youth who’s against Federalism.
- Iyla: I feel like we won’t be able to push through this Friday since none of the other 2 have confirmed and if they do, good but I wouldn’t want to push thorugh with just one if they don’t confirm.
- Ian: Is it too late on may 1?
- Iyla: Je suggested that we get videos of the other two speakers if ever it doesn’t push through since he has contacts with Christian Monsod and Koko Pimentel.
- Ian: Try emailing one last time tonight so let’s see if they don’t reply. I asked Elain to email Econ profs then let’s blast email Polsci profs.
4. HIV Testing Updates c/o Josh (5 mins)
- Josh: The contacts have been unresponsive. Even the contacts you gave are unresponsive but I’m really just waiting. Howie said it’s okay if it gets moved since it’s just an initiative and won’t bump any events.
5. BRA Outreach Updates c/o BRA (5 mins)
- Louise: We’re pushing through on April 23, 8-4pm and we’ve already posted the reminders.
- Iyla: It might be discouraging to have it whole day.
- Louise: If we make it half day who can go? Cams, Yana, Louise, Ian, Bets, Kayla
- Ian: Kindly update us if you can make it half day. Who won’t be able to go at all? Theresa, Javi*
- Gelo: Freshies have a Math exam in the morning, 10-12 but we might be able to take a conflict exam which is earlier in the morning.
- Ian: Louise & Kayla, it’s also important to make sure that it isn’t full of Ecosoc people just because of the counts. For the pub, how is it?
- Louise: We already asked it from Joaquin to be posted tomorrow but I haven’t gotten an update from him regarding it.
- Ian: Will the sign ups be there?
- Louise: Yes
- Ian: When it’s released, BRA please brig and post in your group.
6. Internals Small Initiatives c/o Jolo (5 mins)
- Jolo: Paje said we need to make a scratch paper video to raise awareness for it. We’re gonna come up with a Hell Week video instead. It’ll be like library etiquette, mental health tips and exam tips plus some of our services.
- Ian: When do you plan to release it?
- Jolo: Around first week of May.
- Ian: Just update us regarding the video by next week.
7. Schoolympics & DilGames Pub Updates c/o Je (5 mins)
- Je: I’ll get back to you guys for the Schoolympics date next week.
- Ian: What’s the tentative date?
- Je: April 30 or May 7.
- Ian: Can you give the final date latest on Thursday?
- Je: Yes.
- Ian: BRA, please make sure your batch mates are aware of the tentative dates so they can block it off and attendance won’t be a problem. Our suggestion for midsem evals was to rebrand it to make it fun.
- Howie: Kindly make a pub for it since there wasn’t one released after the first one.
- Je: We got defaulted last DILGAMES since the players had NSTP.
- Ian: There’s a Women’s Volley game on Thursday, 7-8pm so let’s support.
8. Council Room Cleanup c/o Bets (5 mins)
- Bets: Friday, 11:30-1pm. I’ll be getting one representative per house so we aren’t counterproductive.

- Ian: We need to find ways to get rid of the X deals. Which events can we use it for? Alay, BRA Outreach, Activate, Career Talk, Tutorials
- Ian: The priority during cleanup is that these will be fixed. What will we do with the bubble wrap?
- Josh: I can bring it home.
9. Other Matters
- Howie: Improve on attendance for the rest of the term especially when it comes to events.
- Theresa: We need to reserve SE 125, April 25.
- Iyla: Bets, can you confirm May 3 reservation?
- Bets: Sure, I’ll put the reservations all in one list.
- Iyla: You guys will have taskings for Activate on April 28, Saturday (7am-12nn). I need hosts, reg, ushers.
- Ian: Who are the speakers?
- Iyla: Eric Chua of Shapecloud is a confirmed speaker. He was in the pub last night. Also, please share the pubs since the reach is going down and we need a lot of sign ups.
- Ian: Will there be incentives?
- Iyla; Yes.
- Cams: We have a follow-up meeting regarding the UPSE privilege card on Thursday or Friday 2pm most likely here in UPSE. Who can go? Bets
- Kayla: It’s my birthday on Thursday, so we’ll be having a pakain.
- Louise: It was also my birthday last April 4 so it’ll be a joint celebration.
- Ian: For the TRAIN assessment, I’ll be asking Josh and Iyla for help with the arguments for and against. Let’s start it tonight.
- Joaquin: Ian is doing the pub for DuterteWatch.
