- Carlos: next Friday, 7pm (April 7)
- Paje volunteers his house
- Kape Evals
- Jem: good in terms of speakers; good analysis of SOGIE bill
- Logistics were okay, coffee was there (thank you Pat), easy to work with Audi, no last-minute concerns
- PR: should have gotten more org partners, only Ecosoc filled their seats
- Program: interesting, Q&A had a lot of good questions brought up
- Attendance forms will be ready this week for profs’ incentives
- Good overall but could have gotten more incentives to get more people to go
- Profs did not want to give incentives since they already gave to ACLEs they wanted their students to go to
- ETC feedback:
- did better this sem than last sem (ushering and reg)
- could do more on the event planning as SESC and not just EdRes
- Carlos: Do you think other councilors should help in planning given Econ Week? Should Kape still be in Econ Week?
- Jem: M&P could help out more; it should stay in Econ Week to keep the momentum
- Paje: I wish it could have been better integrated into Econ Week’s branding and make it clear to orgs that it is part of Econ Week
- Jem: branding of Kape is set in ETC, they might feel like they lose their hold on the event if we impose our Econ Week branding on them.
- Carlos: Should be better planned at the start of the year pa lang. How can we fix our working relationship with them?
- Jem: Tasks should not be structured; we’re assigned to M&P, but we onlt have one and was busy with Econ Week. Our roles should be more flexible.
- Jem: good in terms of speakers; good analysis of SOGIE bill
- Good Governance Talk
- Chito: Positive: Well-prepared the speakers and they seemed knowledgable on the topic; they ended on time
- Attendance was okay naman
- They (NCPAG) were okay as partners
- Negative: it gelt dragging esp at the second speaker
- USC, NCPAG, SESC event but mostly only NCPAG and SESC did the work. Was relying on USC to pub, but USC was unresponsive. Only a few went from USC
- Preparations were slow but the event went smoothly
- Josh: the script should be better-distributed among the 2 hosts
- Carlos: if we’re going to keep these talks for EconWeek, we should have the details out earlier
- We should find a way to demand for accountability from our partners; a lot of our partners say they will go, but do not
- Howie: We can get the names of the representatives
- Jem: But there is still no way of truly getting them to go
- Carlos: value of planting questions; good thing NCPAG had a lot to ask
- Chito: Positive: Well-prepared the speakers and they seemed knowledgable on the topic; they ended on time

- STRAW Updates
- OCG info to be released hopefully this week/weekend
- Changed the title, to “Tuklas: An Advocacy Fair”
- Nakapag-delegate na ng task for org partners, kailangan lang makapg send by this weekend
- Howie: For the parking guidelines, twenty-nine respondents pa lang so far. I think kulang pa yun. Ang plano ko na lang sana is for the batchreps to brig the link na lang. Next is may memo pala from OASH regarding Women’s Month, where they want us to help celebrate it by writing on strips of cloth. Kung may kilala kayong willing mag-perform, just tell them
- Fin Updates
- Joel: We were able to meet for the expenditures ng Econ Week. In total, we spent around 45k. Kailangan ko pang i-compute yung total that we could use for Schoolympics, but I think we have 10k so far, but it costs 28k, so we have around two weeks to raise that amount
- Trina: If you want, JMA has a marketing competition with 15k prize; it’s on April 18
- Joel: our plan for next week is to do the Econ merch sale, also have food sales for next week. I plan to have a booth sa tapat ng lounge so we can liquidate the merch.
- Carlos: What’s worst case?
- Joel: I’ll shoulder some of it. What I need naman for that is pub request from Tin. I’ll compute pa for the expected income. By this night, I can compute it na.
- Gabbi: I was thinking na we can upload a spreadsheet sa group na updated daily para makapag-adjust tayo in terms of sales.

- EdRes Updates
- We’ll release na lang ng Free Market Article, next week Wednesday; then ECONcepts, the weekend after the midsem evaluations, which is April 8 or 9. For tutorials sa Econ 106, walang material for the second exam, pero plano kong magtutorial for 151. I’ll try to schedule it on Tuesday next week if kaya. We’ll try to look for tutors, but yun lang so far.
- Alay Sa Personnel Evals
- The staff seemed happy
- Thank you to Ecosoc for giving 1 CDC count: very receptive & a lot of people went
- Positive: A lot of food, ordered good for 30 people but 60-70
- Liked the giveaways (mason jar mugs)
- Overspent but covered excess: only got 1k budget from SC
- Got 500 from orgs for food, 250 for the mugs
- Suggestion: better to have own sec core
- Program could have been better
- Negative:
- Did not have much help; was expecting more from the teamin terms of participation and responsiveness/communication
- Only Jolo, Clarisse, Javi & I were working
- Surplus food was given to students; surplus mugs given to 101
- Econ Week Evals
- Paje: Let’s start with the pros and cons. For pros, ang ganda talaga ng pubs. Very consistent, ang taas ng reach, quality, so thanks Tin. I’d like to think na na-feel ng batches yung Econ Week. For Agape, pros include na mej fun naman siya, but con was that super kulang ng food. I think more ganaps na lang for that. Next, let’s go to Spa Day. I think that it was a great initiative. Ang daming nakapagpa-spa, esp. with the staff and personnel. We were able to massage 52 people and magaling yung taga-masahe. Siguro note na lang next time na mas maganda sa Madrigal room. For Batch Wars, pros include consistent yung number of games and that they were pretty easy to do. I wanna credit Jolo Zagala, Nica Pine, and Sofia Padilla for the creative games. Hindi kaya nang 10 minute set-up time for the Batch Wars? So start palang ng setting up, brig and tweet na kaagad. After that was Game Theory, pros include was that venue was so solid, also solid rin yung drinks; another is that ang daming pumunta from different orgs. A lot of people enjoyed naman, and magaling rin yung DJ.
- Paje: Do you think it’s a good idea na ganitong scale uli?
- Consensus: Yes, if the budget can handle it.
- Howie: Pero sana, magkaroon rin tayo ng procedures for sprak people.
- Paje: Overall, I think na one strength we have to work on is the presence rin of people, and I think we can address that through SEAC participation rin.

- SEEB Matters
- Kiss: So since election is on April 6, Convoc is April 4. So for councilors and batch reps who have people running for their positions, please prepare questions for them.
