2.Alay sa Personnel Updates c/o Bets (5 mins)
- Bets: My core and I will be meeting tomorrow to prepare the tokens and make sure they’re aware of the taskings. As for SESC, the taskings will be the same as last time. Louise and Josh will host and the rest will distribute the food. I’ll post the floor plan later but it’s the same as last time.
- Howie: What about the plan for SEAC?
- Bets: I already posted the reminders in the SEAC group.
- Paje: Do you want me to remind them?
- Bets: Yes please

3. HIV Testing Updates c/o Josh (5 mins)
- Josh: Babaylan just sent me a contact but he said that he could send it himself. I’ll remind him later to do so. We’re planning to have it on May 10-11.
- Howie: It hits your Happiness Week though.
- Josh: We can just insert it as one of the initiatives.
4. BRA Outreach Updates c/o BRA (5 mins)
- Louise: Sorry about Monday since GK didn’t allow us to do half day because if we had it half day, almost no one can go. We’re having it in Heart At Play instead on May 5 but they want a date after May 12.
- Yana: So the choices are either May 5 or May 12. The contact wanted after May 19 since I think she’s a UP student but I said that it wouldn’t be possible
- Louise: It’s going to be 1-pm.
- Howie: Which would be a better date? I feel like if it’s on May 12, it might be too late.
- Louise: Okay, we’ll push for May 5. It’ll be easy since they’re providing food so we just need to think of an activity.
- Howie: Who can’t go? Jackie, Cams, Javi
5. Schoolympics & DilGames Pub Updates c/o Je (10 mins)
- Je: Schoolympics could be May 5,6,7, 11,12 or 13. Econ @ Work is on May 7. May 5 might be BRA Outreach.
- Steph: There are exams on May 13.
- Howie: We’re down to two weeks since it’s going to be finals week, so we need to figure out when to have it. What if we make BRA Outreach on May 12 since that’s what Heart at Play originally wanted then we move Schoolympics to May 5? We can ensure attendance in BRA Outreach since people still need counts.
- Je: I’ll check with the venue which is either Claret or Pisay. There’ll be an incentive for Jhiedon.
- Howie: If these events do not push through on their scheduled events, they will no longer push through since there are no more available dates.
- Je: Also, there is a cooking class on May 4, 1-4pm. We’ll have sign ups but there will only be 16 slots.
- Howie: Please pub the sign ups. DILGAMES Sched is Women's Volleyball (Econ-Stat) vs. CS-CMC, 7-8PM @ Court 3, CHK Gym on Thursday.
- Je: The Women’s Basketball team will be open for recruitments so we can pub about it since it’s fully subsidized training.
6. EdRes Updates c/o Iyla (10 mins)
- Iyla: DG on federalism last friday was cancelled due to lack of available speakers. Since there’s no more available date, can we just make an Econcepts? Or should we just consider not having it and make an econcepts infog or free market article instead? I'm also worried about attendance kasi, given the turnout of our previous events
- Iyla: Activate (partnership event with OBEM about startup businesses) on the 28th is cancelled. Based on our last GA, there was a consensus to cancel the event altogether instead of compromising the quality of the event. The main reason for cancelling is the number of sign-ups we got. Despite our best efforts, sign-ups for the event only reached four out of the expected hundred. We tried to control for this by sending out partnership letters to orgs and incentive letters to profs. But I guess due to the timing of the event (long weekend, maybe everyone's busy with elections and acads), not a lot of people have the time to go to our event.
- Iyla: In terms of the speakers, I was worried about bad reputation but OBEM said it's better to cancel than to underwhelm the speakers with the number of audience. We all take this as a learning experience and hope that the next edres councilor will continue with what we started.
- Iyla: DG with Ecosoc on May 3 (Thurs) in SE 105 about sustainable development and eco-tips on sustainable living. Ecosoc is in charge of pub and programs, SESC on log and fin.
- Howie: Who can’t go? Joaquin, Jolo, Jackie, Steph, Louise (can go 4-5)
- Iyla: We're eyeing speakers from UP MBS and Ludwig Federigan from Young Environmental Forum. The expected output is a statement on eco-waste management and sustainable living.
- Iyla: Reminder to batch reps to remind your acad directors to send exam dates ASAP so I can reserve rooms for tutorials early.
- Kevin: If there will be a statement released after the DG, I think the SESC and Ecosoc have to be quorum.
- Iyla: It’s going to be by the participants of the DG on the Ecosoc page.
7. Career Talk Updates c/o Cams & Iyla (5 mins)
- Cams: The speakers are okay for Fintech (Tricia Canaveral), Ops (Loise NIpa) and Telecomm (Erwin Mate). It’s in partnership with Ecosoc since they were supposed to have a career talk too on May 2. We plan to pub it on Saturday. I’ll give taskings next GA.
8. Internals Small Initiatives Updates c/o Jolo (5 mins)
- Jolo: We’ll have a free coffee initiative and amek sure we get to give admin too. I’ll be giving away the Xdeals too.
- Howie: I still have oreos at home.
- Josh: I had to give away one of the oreo boxes to a baggage person a grocery since it wouldn’t fit in my car anymore.
- Jolo: I’ll follow up the video of the Scratch paper inititative.
9. Sidhi EIC c/o Paje (5 mins)
- Paje: Elain cancelled on me again tody so I’m giving her one last chance to talk to me tomorrow. If not, it’ll be Diego already.
- Howie: Yeah, if she can’t seem to give it time, then I’m not sure we can expect her to give SIDHI time.
- Howie: There’s no class next Tuesday so we need to find a time next week. We have an event on Wednesday and Thursday. We can have it on a Tuesday since everyone can still go and we can make it earlier.
- Ian: There are mobilizations in the morning so we could have it after that.
- Howie: Who won’t be able to go? Yana, Joaquin, Jolo*, Louise*, Javi
- Paje: Let’s meet here at 11 and then eat maybe in Sweet Inspirations.
