Admin's Corner

Renting a Room or Equipment |
1. Write a letter addressed to the college secretary with the following details:
- Name and address of the organization - Officers - Purpose and schedule of activities 2. Submit the letter to SE 101 at least three working days before the event. 3. Wait for the approval of SE 101. Once approved, you may now post your posters. 4. Be sure to remove them after the event! |
1. Write a letter addressed to the college secretary requesting the use of facilities/equipment you need. Make sure to include:
- The name of the organization requesting use, - Which facility/equipment to be used, - Date and time, purpose, and your contact details in case you need to be contacted. 2. Wait for approval. |
Check of Online Resources
1. Go to the computer lab in the library building and look for Kuya Roland.
2. Check if data set is available (list is with him).
3. Write a letter of request to the computer lab, noted by the professor who requires the use of the data.
4. Give the letter to Kuya Roland. When approved, bring USB for the data.
*Online references via http://www.econ.upd.edu.ph/main/the-upse-library are only accessible on campus when connected to Dilnet.
** Databases from digital libraries such as JStor, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and others are only accessible in the computer lab or via Dilnet.
*** To check if a book is available in the database of the UP Library System, access http://www.ilib.upd.edu.ph/

Access to Econ Kit |
1. During the regular registration, a council booth is set up where students can rent lockers for the semester.
2. Should a student miss the chance to rent a locker during the abovementioned time, he or she may contact the Secretariat Councilor or their respective batch representatives to see if there are still any lockers available. 3. Once rented, a student is to provide their own padlock for their locker. Each locker rents for P150 for one semester. 4. A student is to vacate their locker at the end of the semester. Council Room Use (CFME 3rd Floor)1. Ask availability of the council room from the Secretariat Councilor at least one (1) day before the planned use of the room. You may message the Secretariat Councilor, Bassy Ibarreta on Facebook.
2. When available, the Secretariat Councilor shall reserve the said time and date for your use. 3. Prior to your scheduled use, obtain the key from the Secretariat Councilor or any council member he assigns. 4. After your use of the room, return the key to the Secretariat Councilor or to any council member. 5. Please maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the council room. *There is a weekly scheduled use of the council room for all SEAC organizations to be scheduled during the SEAC plansem. Borrow SESC BooksA list of all the books in the council room library are available in the Online Econ Kit. You may borrow one for a period of three (3) days at a time.
To borrow a book, simply fill out the google form that is linked in the Online Econ Kit. You may also contact the Education & Research Councilor at 09985800608 Request for Tutorial1. Tutorials for certain required subjects are automatically provided by the Academic Alliance without request.
2. If five (5) or more students in your class would like to request for a tutorial, kindly approach your Batch Representatives or the EdRes Councilor. Kindly give preferred dates, exam coverage and topics your class would wish to focus on. |
